J.C.'s Roycroft Direct Family Line

James Clinton (JC) Roycroft was born 26 Apr 1920 at Mixon, Cherokee County, Texas.  He passed away on 26 Jan 2005 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  He married Agnes Irene Dark on 15 Oct 1938 at Bascom Community, Smith County, Texas. JC and Agnes are both buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Smith County, Texas.  Agnes and JC had 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter).  JC was retired from Tyler Pipe.  He also loved to garden and travel to Branson Missouri to see the shows.  He played in the musical group the "Rose City Ramblers."

JC was the child of George Franklin Roycroft born 07 Dec 1879 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas died at Tyler, Smith County, Texas on 11 Jun 1952 and his wife Emma Elizabeth Rollins born 18 Dec 1886 died at Tyler, Smith County, Texas  on 29 Jul 1979.  They were married on 19 Mar 1903 in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas.  George and "Lizzie" are both buried at Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse, Smith County, Texas.

Joseph Redden was the child of Caswill Calvin (C.C.) Roycroft born 02 Oct 1818 at Wake County, North Carolina died on 18 Jul 1874 and his wife Nancy E. Taylor  born 28 Sep 1826 at Tennessee.  They were married on 02 Dec 1846 in Fayette, Tennessee. 

C.C. was the child of L.J. Roycroft born 11 Jan 1790 in England died on 01 Aug 1849 and his wife Mary  born 13 Aug 1797 at Tennessee (?) died 24 Sep 1849.
